Hey people! It's been a busy, busy year. It's New Year's Eve baby!
To start the year right, I have decided to look my new year resolution for 2008. How many of those did I actually accomplish this year?
New Year Resolution 2007
- Get a killer bod (a.k.a 6 packs)
Eh. You be the judge. Take a look at this picture.
- Get silver for IPPT in order to get that extra 100 bucks as well as to skip Remedial Training (the horror!)
Mission Accomplished. Except I didn't ever get the 100 bucks. Goddamnit.
- Get... a girlfriend? Hahaha... Too bad time isn't on my side for this one.
If you have a girlfriend, you will probably listen to her sweet voice, everyday, right?
Well, I just found one. TECHNICALLY speaking.
This one doesn't really listen. But she's oh so slim and sexy.
Meh. Ok. Let's just give this girlfriend thing a rest. Let nature run it's course.
- Make more friends and widen my social circle
2007 was a fun year. I met loads of people. Mission Accomplished.
- Start recording something for my audio blog. It's collecting dust for crying out loud.
Never got around to it. Never will.
- Do something about my toe nails. It's not a pretty sight.
It's healing. Double sock and double insoles people!
- Get a life. I know I'm in the army, but do I have to spend every weekend alone?
I tried. Turned out pretty well, I guess.
- Get back at Santa. He's been overdued on my presents for 20 long years.
... ... You do know I was saying it in jest, right?
- Go for New Year countdown next year at the Esplanade. Or somewhere crowded.
Hmm. Oh, right. I'll be in camp. For guard duty.
Ho Hum.
- Learn the guitar. I know I say this every year, but I tried.
Well, I did make some progress. I bought a self-help DVD... which was chucked aside the first day it arrived.
I'll try harder next year.
Overall, it wasn't such a bad year after all. I'll be looking forward to 2008... the day that my pink ic shall return is near.
