Woke up at 6.40AM today in order to be on time to help out Yuling as a voice actor for her project. It's been a long time since I've taken a train during the morning rush hours and I have to say...
I still hate it. Detest it. Loathe it! A big guy with a big bag has no room for comfort in that sardine packed train at all.
NTU seems to be an awesome place to live with it's enormous food selection (Subway, McDonalds, Sakae Sushi!)... but it's inaccessibility is really a major turnoff.
I had just the strangest encounter on my way to watch Wall.E. There's this weird auntie who was eyeing my bag of bombermans and started asking whether she could buy one from me. In a desperate attempt to get her off my back, I offered to give one to her (and because I am a kind person!). To my horror, that only encouraged her to rattle on about the achievements of her sons all the way to Dhoby Ghaut, completely ignoring the fact that me and my girlfriend were trying to have our own conversation. It was a total one way conversation involving her words and mine being shot down everytime I tried to make it a two-way traffic. Horrendous.
Went to watch Wall.E with my precioussss. That makes the second movie for this week! Record breaker! Check out our monstrously huge can of popcorn!
Her dinner and my appetizer for the night
Wall.E is kind of short with little dialogues. The little guy (Wall.E) doesn't talk much and neither does his love interest, Eve. Nevertheless, it did bring about laughters and a few "awwws" and cheers during the film. If you have been pondering over whether or not to get an Apple computer, this should help. Our little guy here is definitely running on the Apple OS. Just listen to Wall.E's startup sound. Hint much? Are we going to be seeing another robot flick with the Window's startup sound the next time round? We'll just have to wait and see. Overall, Wall.E is a decent animation flick, but I would strongly recommend anyone to watch it on a DVD release instead. It would definitely be more worth it to watch it with your family members given the heart-warming content.
Now, after watching the movie, you should know that even robots know the importance of holding hands. What would you do if a girl asks you to wait 8 years to do that? That is just plain bullying! Miss Blur Panda, the Roaress, you should learn from the robots! Nevertheless, thanks for the bottle (and the candies inside it). I'll think of you everytime I drink!
My current prized possessionTime check, 1AM. Man am I beat! Been out for the whole day. Night world!
