If I had to use one word to sum it up, the word would be...
Muddy.
The weather wasn't too kind for the competitors of ultimate but the raining did not dampen the spirits of the frisbee warriors. No sir, they pressed on, dashing through the muddy field and gave no second thoughts of diving into the mud just to catch the disc and snatch a point for their team.
The first match that I watched was really beautiful. Everyone was so well-organised and knew where to go and what to do. Every single move were executed brilliantly. The moves were precise and accurate, swift and decisive.
It's a pity I didn't get to see the Layout move that was raved about during the SIM Ultimate's sessions. Guess I have a lot more to learn from the world of Ultimate.
With it's undefined rules and lack of referee, Ultimate is indeed a dog eat dog world. Perhaps someday it would be more highly recognized with a clearer set of rules and officials to govern the game.
