Went to watch Watchmen (sounds funny) with Ernest, Jun Ye and Casper yesterday to celebrate the passing of Ernest's driving test (1st time pass, no less!).

The movie is about a group of masked superheroes who are, in fact, not so super. They do not possess extraordinary powers (with the exception of the blue guy, Dr Manhattan) nor do they possess extraordinary moral fiber. In fact, they are just ordinary people who are skilled in their craft (combat, of course.)
Being an unusual group of masked heroes, each of them sees the world in a different way. How would you save a world that is made up of complex human beings? Will you go about being the ideal super hero from the comic strip? Or would you see the big picture in order to save humanity? Those are the questions posed to us in the movie.
Plot aside, there's plenty of gore and a little nudity (mostly coming from Dr Manhattan) throughout the film. I find the style of the show rather artsy, quite similar to the works of 300 itself. If you expect to find non-stop action in this film, I suggest seeking another flick. But if you enjoy watching a rather heavy film with a dark theme, seeing a bunch of unusual super heroes going about saving the world, you should definitely watch these men (and women) in action.
