Was packing up my stuff to prepare for the big moving day when I chanced upon Polytechnic essays for my project work. I remember the hard times that I had back then, the days that I had to forgo sleep just to finish my assignment and the amount of time that I wasted because of my procrastination. And I especially remembered my best friend telling me that I might be dreading the period of time when I had to do my projects, but someday, I would be looking back and missing those good times.
He was absolutely right.
I guess it might be human nature to always be looking at another pasture of grass that we are not standing in. We always yearn to be someplace that we aren't, always hoping to be doing something else instead of our own work. We always want what we cannot have. But in the end, is what we currently have not good enough for us?
Just some food for thought.

Another happy day out with my 小绵羊! We finally have the chance to catch a movie together, and what better film to watch than the Twilight Saga: New Moon? (No, it's not the New Moon abalone).
The film meant different things to different people. Some hate it. Some love it. Some are just indifferent about it. To me, it's just plain humorous. Who in the world would decide to just lie down and sleep in a forest area? And the bear-like werewolves? You have got to admit there is a at least a part of the film that made you chuckle. Unless you're Mr Sourpuss.
The action was a little lacking, I didn't really enjoy the conversation between the characters, but overall, it wasn't as bad as what they said. For you haters out there, don't hate the film, hate the story. Cut the cast some slack. It IS an adaptation, after all.
Dinner at Thai Express was AWESOME. It's the first time in my life that I've had such a delightful bowl of Tom Yum Soup. One that is not too sour or drowned with chili oil *shudders*. And the best part? We actually finished the meal without the after effect of walking through the great desert (FYI: the great thirst). Great job, Thai Express. That's good thai food at affordable prices for ya. I'll let the pictures do their job.

Some lime drink
Glass noodles!
Green Curry Rice
LAST BUT NO LEAST... Tom Yum Soup

Please clap for me! I remember that it's the 3rd! I care, ok?
Time flies and it's been yet another month for us. I have only seen you like... once (I think) in November... but yet, we remain connected. How did you like your belated (21 days late to be exact) birthday cake? Has anyone done that for you before? I hope I'm the first...
I have decided that I will nickname you 小绵羊! Please stop bullying this tiger and be a good sheep! Be my lame chop!
Take good care of yourself when I go overseas, ok? And remember to miss me...

"Thou shalt not eat at Skinny Pizza".
Why?
In all honesty, the service was not bad, the staff was friendly, the food was decent, their pizza was quite a novelty, but $9 for fries that tasted like Old Mac's? I for one, felt really ripped off.
The worse part was the held up when I tried to pay the bill. I was kept waiting for more than 10 minutes just to get my signature on the receipt. Time is of the essence and this is what we get? Not even some consolation during the wait? The least you could do is to offer more water or at least some complimentary drinks.
I'm not trying to nitpick, but after eating there, I was constantly craving for water. Don't even get me started on the amount of MSG/salt used in their food. My mouth still feels weird after a night of sleep. Ugh.
Aaand that, my friends, is why thou shalt not eat at Skinny Pizza. You might still want to give it a go, but you would definitely not see this spikey head in that restaurant again.
